Business Education Series
Creating Business Education Seminars that Reach Beyond the Bottom Line
The Chamber’s mission statement inspired the Business Education Series and the first educational seminar was launched October 19, 2006. The seminar featured Caterina Rando, a sought after speaker, business success coach and author of the national best selling book Learn to Power Think from Chronicle Books. Caterina’s topic: Attract Clients with Ease was engaging, informative and practical. The attendees unanimously voted to bring her back for more!
The second seminar The Art of Revitalization on April 11, 2007 featured a panel of experts who presented an array of topics. The keynote speaker Jeff Eichenfield of Eichenfield & Associates shared his experience in working with communities who want to preserve their historical characteristics while revitalizing their community.
The goal of the Business Education Series is to inspire and set apart the Martinez business community through a series of educational seminars that stimulate new ideas while encouraging dialogue about a myriad of topics. Financial planning and money management, environmental issues as they affect business, as well as human resources, are only a sampling of ideas.
Christine DiBerardino, 1 2 3 Accounting Solutions, Inc., the VP of Education, is quoted as saying, “At the Martinez Chamber of Commerce we are passionate about being a vehicle of growth. Education is most effective when participation is encouraged. Whether it is one of the upcoming seminars, or Ethics Day, at the Martinez Chamber of Commerce we are certain that our members will benefit from their participation in these programs. In fact, we are certain that our Business Education Seminars Reach Beyond the Bottom Line.”
